Mori Lab's Alumni

tosokai4 Mori laboratory has been vigorously promoting many activities such as education, research and academic, to realize more "open" university. We consider such a style should be the true relationship between the society and universities. We hold a reunion party, not just for the graduates, but also for people that are closely related to our lab. We named the party "TosoKai".

photo4 As the social structure changes, people have diversified values and individuals seek their own way of working and living.Taking advantage of the special characteristics of the alumina of Mori laboratory that has been producing a wide variety of human resources, we discussed the theme of "Life work in the era of diversified values", with those who are active in each field, from the perspective of government's policy, the values of the world and Japan, and view on life, etc.

photo4 We had a theme session about of "Relationship with Prof. Mori, and influence received from him" for celebrating the retirement of Waseda University. Gave us lectures in order of association with Prof. Mori. We discussed from views not only creating technology, but also human resource development. His directions always brought us achievement that "Intense concept" and "Clearing any hurdles". As a result, we were able to get knowledge about students are getting confidences and playing an active part in society. We could confirm that we do some influences society from now at this session.

Prof. Mori advocated Autonomous Decentralized System (ADS) in 1947 and its research and development has been continuing for 39 years. The ADS concept is proposed as social innovation rooted in the needs of the society through the exchange of technology and culture. This year, a new project is started in Thailand and then in this Tosokai, we discussed the diversified society, life and value.
